About QREX Trade Exhibition

Queensland Resources Expo (QREX) was launched to support the Queensland resources industry through the provision of a platform for trade and networking. It provides an opportunity for Central Queensland businesses to display their products and services and showcasing the resources industry as a whole.

At the inaugural QREX in 2007, 230 exhibitors displayed a diverse range of goods and services for the resources sector, cementing this event on the Australian mining industry calendar. QREX 2007 also highlighted the depth of the contribution which Rockhampton makes to central Queensland’s resource industries.

QREX 2007 was staged by Rockhampton Tourist & Business Information on behalf of the Rockhampton City Council. With immense community support QREX 2007 also included involvement from Queensland Resources Council, Department of Mines & Energy, Department of State Development and Central Queensland University.

QREX now forms part of the REEDMININGEVENTS Portfolio of premium mining industry trade fairs held throughout Australia as part of a structured calendar.
